Welcome to the Pack! We are excited that you are interested in Interfraternity Council Fraternity Recruitment!
Recruitment will be held Friday, August 30th - Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 (Labor Day Weekend)
Registration for Fall 2019 Interfraternity Council Recruitment will close August 28th
The fee to participate in Formal Recruitment with the Interfraternity Council is $65.00, but for April will be discounted to $45. This fee will include several meals, snacks, and transportation to and from all events.
Please complete this application as thoroughly as possible as it helps our chapters get to know more about you!
To make your registration as easy as possible, here is a list of information you will need:
· General resume information – high school/college GPA, activities, honors, and awards, community service, community involvement, including volunteer roles and civic organizations
· Emergency contact information – This will be used as your emergency contact should an issue arise.
· Legacy information – If you have family members who are fraternity members (current or alum), you will need their names, fraternities and where they went to school.
· A headshot – one you would like shared with the chapters (please no one else in the picture, does not need to be professional but should be an accurate representation)
· An electronic method of payment

FERPA RELEASE FORM: This form should be completed by any student participating in a Fraternity or Sorority Organization at NC State University in order to allow NC State to disclose certain educational records to third parties. I understand that the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life may access non-directory personally identifiable information. I give permission to the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life to disclose the following educational records and information to the below listed recipients:
APPLICANT GRADES: I am aware that the minimum academic standards endorsed by Fraternity and Sorority Life is a 2.5 cumulative GPA from college or a 3.5 (weighted) from high school. and full time enrollment in a degree seeking program. I understand that my GPA will be retrieved from Registration and Records at NC State.
INTERFRATERNITY CHAPTERS: Only fraternities affiliated with the Interfraternity Council participate in formal recruitment/rush. At NC State, these fraternities include: Alpha Epsilon Pi, Alpha Gamma Rho, Alpha Sigma Phi, Beta Theta Pi, Chi Psi, Delta Kappa Epsilon, Delta Sigma Phi, Delta Upsilon, Farm House, Kappa Alpha Order, Kappa Sigma, Lambda Chi Alpha, Lambda Phi Epsilon, Phi Delta Theta, Phi Gamma Delta, Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Sigma Pi, Tau Kappa Epsilon, and Zeta Psi.
Please note that Pi Kappa Phi, and Theta Chi Fraternities are NOT AFFILIATED with the IFC or with NC State University.
UNAUTHORIZED RECRUITMENT ACTIVITIES: I understand that I should not participate in unauthorized recruitment events including but not limited to consuming alcohol at fraternity events/activities. Interfraternity Council Recruitment is a dry process; both chapters and perspective members have a responsibility to abide by this standard. If I am found in violation of this standard I may be removed from participating in the Spring 2018 Interfraternity Council Recruitment process.
